Well I am so new to this I don't even know where to begin..My husband was diagnosed with ADD about 6 months ago and It has been a struggle ever since. He can't seem to find a doctor who will precribe the adderall that does help him. They all seem to think that one or two scripts and he should be cured. He's tried strattera and many others and they didn't work. Now he's been without meds for a couple weeks and I am afraid for he goes into uncontrollable rages. This has caused a big problem within our marriage and the kids feel abandoned cause I have to take care of him constantly. I have read numerous articles on ADD and feel very informed but I can't get him to go to the doctors cause he says they will judge him and not help him. We tried to go to a new doctor yesterday and i guess he felt we waited to long and he made me leave and today he has an appt with a neuologist and I'm afraid of the same thing happening. I don't know how to communicate with him anymore he just seems to blow up everytime I open my mouth to suggest anything..any suggestions on how to help would be appreciated greatly...Colleen

Everything is going a little better and we finally found a good doctor and now he is starting a new job this week and hopefully the aspect of being back to work will help his state of mind as well. So with any luck things will stay on the right track!! I will keep ya'll up to date!! Take Care ;D

Great news to hear! Just remind him not to be afraid to ask questions. If he is on a med, and he feels that it isn't working, document, or at least try to document, what his feelings are and what time of day in relevance to when he takes it. Glad to see things are looking up. Take Care Driftwood
